Hey everyone, hope all is well 🥰 just wanted to get back and talk to you a bit about what's been going on around me and in my life and what trajectory I'm on in life I guess. I definitely recommend checking out "The Blue Hour" 💙 If you need healing or just a blissful meditative and therapeutic album to listen to.
No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Learning and unlearning bad habits or wrong thinking is a process. I am still learning the meaning of transparency in my life and being patient with myself is a part of that process. Who know being open and honest might incite a support group that you wouldn't have created any other way. It also helps to know that it's not just YOU and YOU alone who face these hardships in life. Rexx's album definitely inspires me to be more transparent because listening to his story and music helped me put things into a better perspective. There is power in vulnerability although I still haven't been too comfortable showing those parts of me just yet. It gave the album a sense of openness, complete transparency, and extremely vulnerable. The whole album is sprinkled with voice memos of Rexx's mother keeping her faith that she will be healed, prayers, and words of wisdom that she was recorded preaching. Coming to terms with the reality that the person you love will not meet you again physically but lives on in memories. "New Normal" being the second song on the album gives you a sense of peace of mind kind of feel. We know right away that this is an album that will be very emotional. Listening to the beginning of this album he briefly sets the tone for the audience.
